Alex has joined NorthLink Digital as our Head of Recruitment based out of our Tees Valley office.

Alex has an Honours Degree in Law from Leeds Beckett University - he has recruited across a range of technical and engineering disciplines.

The growth of NorthLink Digital will be his primary focus alongside business development and brand awareness.

Our tight-knit team of web & app developers, digital designers and cyber security experts work from our office in the North East of England. They each come from different learning backgrounds, which gives them a unique perspective and insights at different stages of projects. We are a relatively small but swiftly growing team always on the lookout for new talent to recruit. 

Team

I am the founder of NorthLink Digital - an IT Consultancy and Digital Agency with offices in London and the Tees Valley.

NorthLink Digital (formerly trading as Bradbourne Digital) started trading in 2016 and has had successful engagements with a number of high profile international organisations. Our resources work either on-site or remotely from our dedicated office space in the North East of England.

Engagements have included programme managing a large scale regulatory programme (MiFID ii), managing a Digital Transformation programme for a Tier 1 bank, supplying the entire development capability for a FinTech startup building a mobile-first, cloud-first Wealth Management app, and lots more.

I have over 20 years of experience delivering major (multi-year, multi-million dollar) programmes of change within an investment banking environment across a range of Fixed Income businesses including Rates, Credit, FX and Commodities, working in Front Office Programme Management and “Head Of” roles with Front to Back responsibility.

Digital Design : NorthLink Digital can provide Visual Design services, User Experience (UX) design & rapid prototyping of your web site or mobile application. Our team are also experts in WordPress, Content Management Systems and eCommerce solutions.

Full Stack Development : NorthLink Digital offer enterprise standard full stack development of your web or mobile application. Our developers specialise in HTML5/CSS/Javascript/React/React-Native for front end development, along with NodeJS and Java Microservices for the back end. However our adaptable team are happy to work with other technologies such as .Net where needed.

IT Consulting : We specialise in Programme Management or Delivery Management within Digital Transformation programmes, Regulatory Initiatives, Financial Services and Commodities Trading. Also contact us for help on Outsourcing or Offshoring.

Graham Orrell

Phil is the CTO of NorthLink Digital and oversees all technical development from our Tees Valley office.

Phil began his career as a Games Developer, writing mobile games for iOS, Android and Windows Phone 7, before moving into more business-focussed software development across a range of industry sectors such as Fintech, HR, Telecoms and Retail.

He takes a pragmatic approach to software development, believing that there is no single best tool or methodology to use for a given job. 

Technology skillset includes; React, Node, React Native, Unity3D, Xamarin, Cocos2dx, Native iOS/Android, XNA, Alexa Skills, Cardboard VR, ARKit and many others.

Phil Smith

Steven has over 12 years experience in front end web design and development and is based in our Tees Valley office. 

He has worked for agencies, start ups and multi-national companies, as well as writing for Web Designer Magazine and speaking at a number of conferences, he brings a wealth of experience to the team. 

He is comfortable in a number of design tools including Adobe XD, Sketch and Figma. He can also take those designs and convert them to HTML and CSS.

Steven Roberts

Kieron is a Full Stack eCommerce Developer based in our Tees Valley office.

Kieron has a First Class Honours Degree from Northumbria University and over 10 years of start up and eCommerce experience.

Kieron Day

Marley studied web development at Teesside University before joining us at Northlink Digital.

During his A-Level studies, his IT course featured application development, web development, and general IT-related topics, but ultimately decided he enjoyed building websites above all else for its blend of design and programming.

He has worked with NodeJS, Angular, Vue (NuxtJS), React (NextJS), Firebase, HTML, CSS, and the Yii2 PHP framework.
